From an inspiring morning trading alongside the wonderful Peter Gott at Brough Market, to wandering the food halls of Neal’s Yard, enjoying coffee at Monmouth, exploring Parliament, and celebrating at the Countryside Alliance Awards, every moment reminded us that the best retailers never stop learning. We return home with fresh ideas, renewed enthusiasm, and an even greater determination to make Kendal Market the very best it can be.

Every loaf of mushrooms you’ve bought, every conversation you’ve shared, every Friday you’ve chosen to shop locally has helped create opportunities like this for our small team. You haven’t simply supported independent traders; you’ve invested in people, ideas, and futures.

One of the most special parts of the trip was watching some of our younger market traders experience it all for the very first time. They are the next generation of market stallholders, and seeing them learn, ask questions, build friendships, and return home inspired was truly special. These are the moments that help shape the future of the Kendal Farmers’ Market.
