Held monthly, we showcase the region's rich agricultural heritage and commitment to sustainable, quality produce. You'll find a cornucopia of seasonal delights, from freshly harvested fruits and vegetables to artisanal cheeses, homemade preserves, and freshly baked bread. The market is not only a place to shop for exceptional local fare but also an opportunity to connect with the passionate farmers and makers behind the products. As you stroll through the market, the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the enticing aromas of freshly prepared foods create an unforgettable sensory experience.
You’ll find us in Kendal Market place, on the second and last Friday of each month between 8 am - 3.30 pm.

How to get here
From the south
Exit the M6 at junction 36 and follow the A590 to South Lakes. Take the South Kendal (A6) exit and follow the signs for the town centre.
From the north
Exit the M6 at junction 37, turning onto the A684. Follow signs to Kendal.
The nearest mainline railway station is Oxenholme. A connecting train will bring you to Kendal railway station. Kendal Farmers Market is half a mile. Plan your journey by train.
Bus services run through Kendal connecting the town with the Lake District, Barrow and Lancaster. Kendal Bus Station is a 2 minute walk from the Farmers Market. Plan your journey by bus.
