Valentines Day
It’s time to enjoy a bit of the good life
Some would say it’s not the Good Life without Tom & Barbara, we say it’s not the Good Life here in Kendal without Kendal Farmers Market.
Rock up to the market square this Friday (Valentine’s Day) to enjoy a bit of the good life, filled with lots of fun, LOVE and laughter.
Ginger Bakers, Lovingly Artisan and The Old Dairy Bakery will be cooking up a storm with their scrumptious sweetheart treats, and The Wagtail Kitchen will be creating a feast of delicious pies for the ultimate cosying up by the fire.
Did someone say Cheese?
Yes, please Gromit! Grab your baskets and head over to Topenhow Cheese to pick up some Darling Howe. We feel romance is definitely in the air. Why not treat yourself to this wonderfully light and creamy organic British brie-style cheese? Its pristine white rind and classic nutty flavour surround a delightfully delicate, buttery soft cheese with distinctive citrus notes balancing the natural sweetness, accompanied with a Lovingly Artisan Baguette. It’s true LOVE. Some would say – a match made in heaven.
If you fancy something a little bit bold in flavour, then stride your way to
Mrs Kirkham’s Cheese. It’d be rude not to. Life is a little too short so we’d say get a little bit of everything in your basket. After all, it’s Valentines.
And of course, the penultimate in creating the fun, fizz and laughter, pause for thought at Provino (for a real taste of Italy), where Alberto will guide you through all his beautiful wines for you to choose your cork-popping glass of deliciousness to celebrate Valentines in true romantic style.
This is not the good life, it’s the best life!
Happy Valentines.
