You’re already making good choices, creating time to visit Kendal Farmers Market. Making us your twice-monthly habit, we applaud you for supporting our local farmers and looking after you and your families.
It is better for the planet, better for your pocket, and better for your health and well-being. So many of you, are filling your rucksacks, and baskets with produce grown pesticide-free, animals reared sustainably and their welfare is a priority in all daily farming methods and routines throughout Cumbria and the North. Nothing has travelled too far.
New folk in town
We all have our favourite stalls that we visit regularly and trust us they truly appreciate your twice-monthly loyalty and kindness. Exciting news – we have some new traders joining us this Friday.
We’re welcoming Piper Hole Goat Farm, Cross Apiary (who produce honey) and Askerton Castle who are one of the most acknowledged family farms and butchers run by Jane Eden and Chris Evans. Animal welfare is at the core of everything they do, producing organic incredibly tasty meat. Real flavour, nothing added, but the love for farming ethically.
Why not swing by our lovely market this Friday?
Visit your usual favourite stalls, however, take this opportunity to pause for a moment allowing a little time to discover our new stall holders to learn more about their products and discover a whole new list of favourites to add to your existing list and add to your basket of delights.
And finally, we have more good news. Yep, the weather gods are finally on our side – no rain – yeah we hear you say!
