We’re starting this week with some wonderful news. William Robinson of Martindale Muscovies has been named Young Farmer of the Future at the 2026 Young British Farming Awards!

We’re incredibly proud to have William as part of our market community. His passion, hard work and commitment to farming shine through in everything he does, and this award is richly deserved recognition of his achievements. If you see William at the market on Friday, please do stop by and join us in congratulating him. It’s a tremendous accomplishment for one of our young traders, and we can’t wait to celebrate with him.

Kendal Farmers’ Market is an important part of the rhythm of our town. It brings local farmers, growers, makers and producers right into the heart of Kendal, giving us the chance to shop locally, know where our food comes from and support the people behind it.
